Dave Ode presented Dennis Skadsen with the 2009 Citizen or the Year Award from the South Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society.

KC Jensen presented Travis Runia the 2009 Outstanding Master's Student Award from the South Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society.   

KC Jensen presented Brian Jansen the 2009 Outstanding PhD Student Award from the South Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society.   

Troy Grovenburg was selected for the 2009 Best Student Presentation Award at the South Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society's annual meeting. 

Duane Weber was selected for the 2009 Best Open Presentation Award at the South Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society's annual meeting.

Dennie Mann presented Bill Walker with a Special Award at the South Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society's annual meeting. 

Two new life members were recognized at the 2009 SDTWS annual meeting.   Kevin Luebke is Life Member No. 23 and Douglas Alvine is Life Member No 24.
